Kids in a New Groove

We’re excited to announce that Kids in a New Groove (KING) is officially plugged into Partnerships for Children! We’re eager to amplify KING’s mission under our programming to continue to provide quality music mentors to individuals ages 5 and up who’ve had experience with the foster care system.

Now, together, we are creating a consistent and nurturing environment, to empower our youth to transform their lives through connection and support.  PFC is happy to carry the tune because we all believe that Mentorship has a Melody.

KING merge

The KING mentoring through music program provides Central Texas youth involved in the foster care system with committed one-on-one mentoring relationship through music lessons.

We remove the financial and mobility barriers that often prevent these youth from such an enriching experience by making our music lessons free, equipping the student with an instrument of their choice, and having our music mentors provide in-home lessons.

KING creates a consistent and nurturing environment
to empower youth to transform their lives through music mentorship.

that  You  can help

Youth ages 5+, involved with the foster care system, residing in Travis, Hays or Williamson county are eligible to enroll in our free program.
