Tyler

Tyler is a bright-eyed and friendly child who can always be found tinkering with something, whether it's bouncing balls, frisbees, or spinning toys. He is very active and observant. He has a hearty appetite and especially enjoys going out to eat and McDonald's. He does best on a schedule and having his day be predictable. He loves to play outdoors, especially at the park, where he can play on the swings or shoot hoops with a basketball. Tyler will play with other children in activities but values his independent time. He is nonverbal, though he communicates and expresses himself through some sign language, facial expressions, sounds, and guiding his caregiver to what he wants or needs. He understands simple directives and follows requests. Tyler has a love for classical music which tends to make him relax. He loves high fives and "fist bumps." He thrives on positive reinforcement and consistently tries to do his best.

Tyler's forever family will be one that can meet his needs and be patient and understanding with him through consistency and structure. He thrives in a predictable schedule and structured environment. His family will be proactive in continuing services for him.
