Delilah

Delilah is a very happy child who enjoys playing with her stuffed animals and dolls. She can be shy at first, but easily warms up. She is interested in toys that have lights and sounds and likes fidget toys. Delilah is mostly non-verbal but can say a few words. She loves to be outside and explore nature. Delilah also enjoys being around all types of animals. She likes to watch cartoons and sing along with videos on YouTube. Her favorite foods are pizza and chicken nuggets. Delilah likes to dance and laugh. Delilah likes to go to school. Currently, she is working on learning her letters and numbers. She enjoys being able to trace her letters and numbers with a dry-erase marker. Delilah also enjoys coloring and drawing.

Delilah will thrive with a family that has experience with autism spectrum disorder and knowledge of the community supports that would help her be the best person she can be. Her forever family will provide her with structure as she does well with a set routine. Her family will be willing to care for her through adulthood and ensure she gets all the services she needs. Delilah’s forever family will be supportive of her relationship with her siblings and allow Facetime and ongoing communication with them.
